The Apollo Hybrid Power System is a microgrid designed to be used in rugged
terrain in locations that do not have access to utility grids. In
addition to saving money on fossil fuel and fuel transportation logistics,
the Apollo Hybrid power system will also reduce or eliminate engine noise.
Our microgrid concept is designed around using components as building
blocks to achieve a system that matches your specific needs. Our
system concept provides flexibility in the quantities of renewable energy,
energy storage, energy generation and supplementary backup. Our systems
also provide flexibility in the format of AC power that they can provide
... from 120V AC single phase to 208V three phase at 50 or 60 Hz and variations
in between.
We've provided a few examples of our systems to underscore our unique
building block concept.
This is a block diagram of a small system which utilizes only solar power
to generate electricity. It is capable of producing 3,600watts of
power for a short duration or 500 watts continuously day and night.
Components:
3 - Apollo MMX dual axis solar trackers
24 - FlexPV panels (135 watts each)
1 - 10kWH Apollo Energy Storage
1 - Apollo Power Conversion Case (3.6kW)
This is a block diagram of a small system which utilizes solar power and
fossil fuel to generate electricity. It is capable of producing 3,600watts
of power continuously day and night. This system boasts a fuel savings
of 50% over a generator only system at 3600 watts and 85-90% fuel savings
at 2000watts.

This is a block diagram of a medium size system which utilizes solar power
and fossil fuel to generate electricity. It is capable of producing
10,800watts of power continuously day and night. This system boasts
a fuel savings of 50% over a generator only system at 8000 watts and 85-90%
fuel savings at 5000watts.
